The pledge

How a hallway photo becomes medicine.

St. Jude treats children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases — and families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing, or food. I give my creator check away one selfie at a time so more of that work gets funded.

    I host X meetups, pop up at festivals, and take the sign to conventions like Fan Expo. Next dates always land on my X profile first.

    Selfie + follow

    Take a photo with me and follow @AdamLowisz on X. That’s the whole ask — no ticket, no pitch deck, just a picture and a follow.

    I donate $1

    Each selfie-and-follow becomes a dollar to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, paid from my creator payout. I round up. You can match it.

A full weekend on the Fan Expo floor, splitting time between a friend’s DeLorean booth and a handwritten sign. Every selfie plus an X follow became a dollar for St. Jude. Forty-eight photos later, the gift was rounded to $50 — and the invitation still stands at the next meetup.

The first sidewalk version of the selfie pledge. A Unity shirt, a cardboard sign, and a line of festival-goers. Fifty-eight photos in half an hour, a $60 gift to St. Jude, and a post that passed 1.6 million views — proof that a simple ask can travel.

Adam’s X-mas party: a room full of friends, a Christmas tree, and a promise that every dollar of profit would go to children with cancer. The night closed above $800 and later climbed past $1,000. It is now an annual tradition.
